Óscar Arroyo's 7 Summit Conquest
May 2026: Our colleague Óscar Arroyo Ubeda has conquered the seventh and last milestone of his 7 summits project by reaching the top of Mount Everest (8,848 m). Read his personal story:
Two months after arriving in Kathmandu and after mastering several demanding stages of ascent, Oscar has onquered Mount Everest (8,848 m), achieving his ultimate goal: standing on top of each of the world’s Seven Summits! Only around 500 mountaineers before him have achieved this extraordinary feat, and now Oscar has earned his place among them. During his trip, he shared his thoughts on his endeavor:
As I continue my ascent during the Visco Everest Expedition, I am reminded every day that reaching a summit is never about a single factor. It is about consistency, preparation, and listening carefully to your body.
My training for this expedition started long before setting foot in the Himalayas: months of structured physical preparation, altitude conditioning, and a disciplined diet designed to support endurance and recovery.
